How to Configure URL Parameters in Google Webmaster Tools – Video!

Google has released a video to throw some more light on the URL parameters in Webmaster Tools so that webmasters can allow a more efficient crawl of their site by Google.

Google said, “To be eligible for this feature, the URL parameters must be configured in key/value pairs like item=swedish-fish or category=gummy-candy in the URL

http://www.example.com/product.php?item=swedish-fish&category=gummy-candy

URL Parameters if configured wrongly may give Google the exact opposite message of ignoring certain pages instead of crawling them.
